• If I can’t go to a ticket office to purchase a ticket, how do I make a reservation in advance?

  Please go to the Kaohsiung Sightseeing Bus Service Center to apply for a refund.

• I have already purchased a ticket, but lost it by accident. Can I have a ticket reissued to me on the bus or at the counter?
  Please keep your ticket safe. If it is torn or lost, no ticket will be reissued; you won’t get a refund, either.

• Is there any preferential ticket available to the elderly? Are foreign visitors entitled to buy a preferential ticket?
  Passengers with Taiwanese citizenship and foreign passengers with alien resident certificates (ARCs), who are 65 years of age or older, can purchase a half-fare preferential ticket. Foreign passengers without ARCs are requested to purchase a full-fare ticket.

• Can I pay by credit card when I purchase a ticket on the bus? Do you take UnionPay card or EasyCard?
  You can pay by either of the following credit cards when purchasing a ticket on the bus: iPASS and Easycard; you can also pay in cash.

• If all seats on the sightseeing bus are taken, can I stand on the bus?
  You cannot stand on the upper deck of the sightseeing bus; it is strictly forbidden to stand during the trip. Please fasten your seatbelt while seated.

• Where should I put my luggage?
  Luggage and small items carried by passengers should be placed under their seats without obstructing other passengers, while being kept safe. Large luggage should be placed in accordance with an attendant’s instructions.

• What should I do if my seat is on the upper deck of the sightseeing bus when it rains?
  Raincoats will be provided when it rains. Passengers can move to the air-conditioned area or the lower deck.

• I have already bought a ticket. I want to know under what conditions the sightseeing bus will not run.
  The operation of a bus may be temporarily suspended due to weather or force majeure. Passengers who have already booked a ticket can choose to apply for a refund or take another bus.

  There are 8 bus stops on the Kaohsiung Sightseeing Bus routes; please refer to the bus route.

• Are there priority seats on the sightseeing bus?
  Each bus has priority seats on both the upper and lower decks, where wheelchairs can be fixed. If a passenger needs to use a priority seat, it is recommended that he/she make a reservation with an attendant. The disabled should be companied.

• What should a passenger do when a traffic accident or an unexpected situation occurs?
  There are all kinds of safety equipment on the sightseeing bus. If there is an emergency during the trip and the use of the equipment is needed, please follow an attendant’s instructions and use it according to the operating instructions.

• How can I listen to the audio guide with my mobile internet?
  Wi-Fi is provided on the bus. A passenger can connect to Wi-Fi with his/her smartphone, choose a language, and listen to the information on tourist attractions. If he/she doesn’t have a smartphone, he/she can rent an audio guide at a ticket office.

• How long is the waiting time in between each cruise?
  Love boat cruises do not have a set schedule, the waiting time in between each cruise is approximately 10 to 15 minutes. Collapse
• Are food and drink allowed on board?
  Non-alcoholic drinks are allowed on board. However, please throw the trash into trash cans in order to maintain a clean environment on the boat.

• Is standing or walking allowed during the cruise?
  In order to keep the boat stable, no standing or walking is allowed during the cruise.

• Are life jackets required to be worn?
  The instruction on how to properly wear a life jacket is posted on the navigation bridge; please read it carefully. Life jackets are stored under the seats. When emergency occurs, please stay calm, wear the life jacket and wait for rescue.

  Please purchase tickets at the ticket office before boarding. No ticket service is available on board.
